Project engineer

Skyscrapers in the heart of Manhattan, at an altitude of 450 meters. How do you safely transport building materials and personnel to such heights in the shortest possible time and in large quantities? In Veldhoven, we devise, design, and produce vertical transport solutions. Previously, we built thirteen RAXTAR lifts for the 541-meter-high One World Trade Center in Manhattan. Which prestigious project will you oversee next?

As a Project Engineer at RAXTAR, you ensure the safe deployment of our vertical transport solutions to optimize and secure the construction process. Our project engineers work on various projects worldwide from A to Z, collaborating closely with other team members, external partners, and clients.

What You Will Do

 As a Project Engineer, you will design lift setups on construction sites for both rental and sales projects. No challenge is too great for you. You will be in close contact with Sales and the client, translating their requirements to ensure optimal construction continuity and safety on site. Your role is independent and responsible. You will create designs for anchoring project setups in Revit and Autocad, develop project schedules, and coordinate projects from start to finish. Some of your tasks will include:

•  Mapping out requirements and construction plans with Sales and clients
• Creating setup drawings
• Conducting technical analyses and calculations for anchoring forces and ground pressure of the setup
• Preparing operations both internally and externally
• Providing project documentation and recording designs in BIM
• Developing project plans and monitoring progress
• Identifying potential risks and developing plans to mitigate or reduce them
• Supporting the project team with technical issues and problem-solving
• Engaging with product users and aligning client feedback with R&D to continuously improve our products

What You Bring

 The best result is your top priority. You use your common sense and ensure you know the ins and outs of production and construction sites. By understanding the client's perspective, you come up with safe, service-oriented solutions. You can work and decide independently, but also know when to involve and convince your internal and external contacts. You are skilled at gathering and filtering information, quickly translating it into affordable and feasible designs.

•  You have completed an education in mechanical engineering or a similar field
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus due to our international projects
• You enjoy a varied job with new challenges every day
