Hoist Construction Electrician

(Veldhoven, full-time, day shift)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician / Control Technician. You will be responsible for installing, programming, testing, and commissioning the controls of our passenger-freight hoists. You install the electrical field components and control cabinets, drives, and wiring according to the electrical diagram. You also provide various components such as frequency converters, PLCs, HMIs, Bluetooth modules, ASI buses with the correct software settings. You ensure that all safety components function perfectly. Safety is key!

Responsibilities:

• Working according to applicable safety regulations and quality standards
• Assembling all parts on passenger and freight hoists according to blueprints and electrical diagrams, intended for high-rise projects
• Assembling and installing electrical wiring, devices, control cabinets, control panels, motors, etc., using hand and power tools
• Mounting and connecting electrical connections, products, and systems
• Analyzing and determining the cause of malfunctioning electrical installations, equipment, parts, etc., using the appropriate testing and measuring instruments and tools
• Repairing and adjusting installations, machinery, defective parts, etc.
• Inspecting electrical systems, installations, and components to detect risks and defects in a timely manner and to determine compliance with standards and regulations
• Testing electrical systems and the continuity of power circuits in electrical wiring, installations, switchgear, etc., using test instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
• Reporting findings and recommendations for improvement of electrical installations

Requirements:

• You have worked as a technician in previous position(s) and gained relevant experience in assembly and electrical engineering
• Completed vocational education in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Preferably experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations on construction hoists
• Possession of a valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Knowledge of electrical installations and wiring
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
